Required Duties: Attendance at all of Hmong Cultural Center’s monthly board meetings (first Wednesday
evening of each month), oversight, advice, guidance and support to the organization as part of a 9
member governing body. Board service is a Volunteer, non-paying position.

Programs: Hmong Cultural Center’s programs include youth afterschool programs (Qeej instrument and
Dance instruction), cultural trainings (Hmong marriage and funeral songs), Adult Basic Education
(English as a Second Language and Citizenship Classes) for Adult refugees, the Hmong Resource
Center Library and Cultural trainings in Hmong history and culture (the Building Bridges program).
